Dude...would you just please stop with this incessant Tebow nonsense????   It's just so damn tired.  He's not here, he's not coming here.   Get OVER it already!   Go be a Broncos fan if you really think he's the second coming.

Rodgers was already on the Packers.   Tebow would have been nice though.   They could have acquired him had they tried.

Oh gosh, are you still here making folks angry JavaRay, just tell the young man what Tebow's record as a pro is and then they can go back to trying to pick on someone else.

Had Freeman been benched, we would have never known if he could have rebounded.  I think today's game shows the young kid has resilience and has lots of room for improvement.  Even in this game he still looks rough, and not polished.  But a raw Freeman looks miles better than many QB's in the NFL that have had more seasoning.  Lets hope he can build on this game for some much needed momentum.

The number one reason why we need to bench Josh Freeman right now is that we need to find out if Freeman is really that bad, or if the offense and play calling is the problem. We need to know whether we need to hire a new OC at the end of the year, or if we need to draft a QB.
Let's let the young man work through it, shall we? But, thanks for the advice.

JJ doesn't have a future with the team if he doesn't re-sign, so benching Freeman doesn't make sense for the long haul.

Freeman is our guy. There will be no benching and as we can all see even Mr. Perfect Drew Brees can have bad games. Free bounced back like many thought he would and this poster makes himself look silly by wanting to bench our QB.

First of all, Freeman is playing terrible. Only Sam Bradford has a lower QB rating in the entire NFL among regular starters. He has the fewest TD's among all NFL starters with only three through five games, tied with Sam Bradford. His TD/INT ratio is the worst among all starting QB's with 3 TD and 6 INT. In fact, he is the only QB who has twice as many INT as TD in the entire league.

I would say McNabb would be worse, but even db's can't catch the balls thrown into the dirt.  :D

I think we can officially put this topic in the running for one of the most overreactive posts this season, no?

I say we take it a step further and cut his sorry butt.  Sends a message to the entire team. One slip up and you are gone!  We may have a hard time fielding an entire team but thats OK.  At least the few that are here will be perfect.

This thread is a perfect example of what's wrong with the internet. If such a statement was said in real life, you'd be verbally eviscerated and wouldn't dare to speak about sports for several years. Anonymity is both a blessing and a curse.

Allow me to also add to this that after being proven wrong only a couple days after saying something so moronic, you'd also become the punchline for stupid sports fans amongst all your friends for years to come. And you wouldn't be able to "go offline" to hide from the ridicule only to pop up again later when we have another bad game, either.
