Is there realistically any reason to NOT open up the game in no huddle?

Both Graham and Lumpkin  are adept at pass pro, so yeah I am all for a no huddle attack featuring spread formations, draws, delays, traps, etc.  But Morris and Olson have a different vision of the offensive identity.

I like it.  4 WR, 1 back, throw the football.

Pull your head out of your arse, Ollie.

well it really won't matter considering the saints can easily put up over 30 points on us.

So were going into the biggest match up of the year so far with 68 year old graham and BUMkin. Grahams been a great team player don't get me wrong but why the heck didn't we plan on signing a decent back up rb in the off season. Atleast keep caddy, something.

Yeah I dont know what to say about our offense. We have been sucking pretty much the whole season and we just got our arse handed to us by the 9ers. I hope we respond and come out with 2 W's over the next 3 games. We'll see though.

Its frustrating to think about how the Panthers have D. Williams and J. Stewart, Falcons have Turner and Snelling(had a decent year last year), Saints have Sproales Ingram Thomas AND they still have Chris Ivory at RB. our main guy goes down and we got Lumpkin. Yeah that name sure scares defenses........

You wanna know what's really funny? I bet we still open up the game Sunday with a RB draw up the middle on 1st and 2nd down, then a check down on 3rd that's a yard short. Watch.

I've been asking this question for weeks. I think I have a thread or three somewhere around here addressing the fact that Freeman is rated 90.5 out of the shotgun and 44.4 when he lines up under center with a 2 WR set. His passer rating is 101.0 with 4 WR's in the shotgun. Why would we want to open things up? Olson definitely doesn't trust Freeman, or he would open it up.

Super. And no legitimate depth behind Blount. And now you wonder why I was a proponent for signing a veteran RB. But hell what do I know, I'm just a fan.

Graham, Lumpkin and Bradford better step up in a major way.

You can nix Bradford from that list.  He's been cut.  We will be relying on Graham and Lumpkin to do the running.  I bet if Freeman gets any pressure he pulls the ball down and runs with it.  Wouldn't surprise me if he is our leading rusher for this game.

Wouldn't suprise me if he's our leading rusher for the season if Blount is out close to 6 weeks.
