I was not expecting this. He needs to be given a chance, but if the coaches didn't see something they liked, or had someone in mind better -- than it can't be helped.  There's a history of back up RB's coming in and being successful. I just wanted to see what Bradford could do.

21 Sept 2011......The New Orleans Saints released tailback Joique Bell on Tuesday afternoon to make room for defensive end Will Smith's return from his two-game suspension. But Bell cleared through waivers and agreed to re-sign with the Saints' practice squad on Wednesday, according to a league source. Bell was outstanding in the preseason for the Saints, but he was inactive for the first two games as the team's fourth option at tailback.

Bell will likely replace tailback Tristan Davis, who was signed to their practice squad on Wednesday. The Saints also re-signed receiver Montez Billings to their practice squad Wednesday, releasing defensive tackle Swanson Miller and quarterback Sean Canfield. The Billings-Canfield transaction is becoming a weekly ritual, with Canfield being re-signed late in the week as an emergency QB option while Billings comes back early in the week to participate in practices.

I don't see them being dumb enough to carry just Lumpkin and Graham. There's just no way. But the cut does clear up a spot for Jackson... that's the only obvious scenario here.... Unless Holland going to IR was enough to clear up a spot for Tanard (not keeping track of signings and what not so correct me if I'm wrong. We did just sign that LB so..?)

I don't think any staff would be stupid enough to carry just 2 RB's in our situation... much less GRAHAM AND BLUMPKIN.

Ya I havent really kept up with the roster moves either. This could be to grab another RB if Blounts going to be out for a long time like they say. Who knows?
