No proof but he is a distant cousin of mine and I just got word he is flying into Tampa tonight. Hopefully this is true as we're thin at RB.

so he couldn't make the 53 man roster of a 0-5 team but now he is our new 2nd draft messiah.

Chad Spann (born August 4, 1988) is an American football running back who is currently a free agent. He was signed by the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He played college football at Northern Illinois University.

In 2010, as a college senior, he rushed for 1,388 yards and led the nation with 22 touchdowns [1], and contributed to the Huskies first 11 win season.

Awesome, thanks for the post. After Tanard Jackson aka Greybeard posted about his own reinstatement turned about to be true, I won't doubt these things. lol. Hope this is true, saw some highlights, seems to be pretty good.

Definitely liking what this could be. Spann is a faster back and he can catch. Hopefully he can make stay on the 53 and emerge into a 3rd down back. I was hoping we'd pick him up when he was an Undrafted Free Agent.

Not entirely impressed by his highlight video, the majority of those runs were the result of just flat out poor tackling. If he is a Buc, hopefully he can make something of his time here.
