He can't be worse than Bradford, can he?

Spann ran a 4.53 at his pro day, so that is blazing fast compared to the guys playing tomorrow.

If he's coming in it's more likely it's for a tryout and possible practice squad signing, isn't it? I'll bet Madu moves up to the active roster before Spann gets a shot.

I dunno. Last I heard he was on the Colts practice squad. I think to take somebody off of some other teams ps you have to sign them to your roster. Either way Id like to see this confirmed first.

It just sucks that we have to resort to waiver wire crap in order to have competency in the RB department.

Did they think it not possible that Blount might get hurt?  WTF was the Coaching staff thinking?

I go to Northern and here's here today for homecoming and he told me to my face the call was from the Bucs. I don't know if it's to the 53 or PS, but he's on his way to Tampa.

Also, he's not fast. Not at all. Strong like bull though.

Hmmm....

I'd be willing to bet, if anything, it's for the PS.  They were hoping to sneak Bradford onto the PS and that obviously didn't happen.  Must not be happy with Madu.

I think the Bucs are bringing him and a bunch of other UDFA backs for a workout. They've been doing it all season with different positions. They may pick someone to sign on to the 53, or maybe to the PS after a Madu promotion or they may not sign anyone.

Spann just tweeted: "lets not get ahead of ourselves"

I thought Lovie said he wanted quickness & speed, even at the QB position?

If Spann is on the Colts PS we can't sign him to our PS.  We would be required to be sign him to our 53.  So who do we cut loose now?  Lynch?  I sure as hell hope it isn't one of our WR's...

If not a WR, who do you cut?
