Want DT - Haynesworth Available

Yeah, this I don't get.  Haynesworth is a 4-3 DT... why are teams not playing a 4-3 signing him?  I know that the Skin's hired Shanahan AFTER they signed Haynesworth, but c'mon, why would you run a 3-4 with a guy who wants to play in a 4-3?

Albert is probably clamoring to go back to a 4-3 UT.  He knows this is his last shot and it might be ours at salvaging the season.  I say do it becaus you have nothing to lose.  1.5 years ago this guy was the best DT in the NFL in a 4-3.

What if both end up on their backs?  Who will turn them over?

Albert Haynesworth has to be looked at. I'd say let him go through waivers and don't put in a claim on him. This would allow the Bucs to sign him at a much lower salary. He didn't work well in a 3/4 and in NE they use a 2 gap system instead of a 1 gap like the Bucs use. McCoy is out for the Year and while I still think McCoy will be a good DT, Haynesworth can come in and immediately be better than Roy Miller and Okam. Give him a deal that is all base salary with no bonus and only incentives. He's going to get paid from NE anyway. Worst case, he doesn't work out but I just can't see him being worse than who we'd have to put in there next to Price.
