Urban Meyer to coach Ohio State next year.

Mike Stoops to be DC. Fickell will also be back on the staff.  Also look for Chad Morris to get looked at for OC and Greg Studrawa LSU OC could make the move to be Ohio States OC. Greg Studrawa seems a little less likely because of how well LSU is doing. But both Meyer and him go back quite a bit, plus both are from Ohio and coached at Ohio State as graduate assistants.

He'd be dumb to ever coach again.  He'll never have Tebow and Harvin again.  He'll never do better than 2 titles in 3 seasons. 

He walked away from UF at the perfect time.  Also, going back to coaching will make his "spend more time with my family" look even more like a joke than it already does.

This guy turned Josh Harris and Alex Smith into Heisman hopefuls before he had Tebow. I don't think he'd have any trouble recruiting at Ohio State, unless the sanctions prove to be too stiff.

At Bowling Green and Utah he had Dan Mullen as his QB Coach, and he followed him to UF as OC. I don't want to say Mullen was propping up Meyer, but without him, he couldn't get it done. Not even with Tebow. Ok, Maybe I do want to say it.

But the Big Ten isn't the SEC. Meyer has a chance to win there. He might even get another NC if the SEC Champ can't escape undefeated.

I highly doubt Gruden would accept an OC job at any level considering he can be a HC at any level.

I'm not bitter, simply because I wasn't that sad that he left.  His inaction regarding Addazio's playcalling was stunning to me.  He wasn't the same the coach his last couple seasons at Florida.  You could just look at him on the sidelines and tell something wasn't right.

That said, I hope he crashes and burns at Ohio State.

I saw today where he is discussing a co- DC position with Stoops.  That might be a good hire since that is about all I remember of him at UofA.  His staff might end up being pretty decent.

 I get the Gator sentiment.  Honestly if Spurrier had won two trophies at OSU, retired, and then come back to go to his home state, I might be a little bitter as well. Unless he was losing regularly to Meatchicken  :0
