 On the 1st drive when Aaron ran, both times Bennett shot inside leaving no contain what so ever. Idk why people have been so impressed with the guy. Maybe because he replaced Kyle Moore. But if Bowers isnt starting next week, its almost an injustice.

Those weren't designed runs. Bennett did exactly what he was supposed to do on those plays. Blame a linebacker for not doing his job on those plays.

I'll say this much, Bowers definitely needs to be in a lot more frequently against mobile QBs. Bennett is still the better pass rusher and he's vastly improved at stopping the run, but he still struggles with staying disciplined and containing...especially with QBs. Rodgers made him look bad today and Newton will do the same if he's in there too often.

I agree on more playing time - just not sure we should give him the position full time yet.  Still want to make sure his Knee's can hold up.

No thats still on the DL. LB's aren't responsible for coverage and QB runs. Your job as DL on passing plays is to stop the QB. If you create massive holes for him to run, thats your fault.

I don't even know if Bennett is the better pass rusher. He might be a better speed rusher, cuz thats about all he does, run around and create a running lane.
