Would Orlando take Brook Lopez + fillers for DH12 + Hedo?
??? Lopez is overrated. Dude can't grab rebounds at all for a big man

Depending on how one defines "fillers", I'd still prefer a Lopez-centered trade than one from the Lakers.  At least Lopez has a reasonable chance of staying healthy.  Plus .. LA.  Blech.  It helps that this year's draft class is looking as strong as it does.

Those fillers are 2 1st round picks and I guess any other players to make the salaries match.

I believe the Nets traded their 2012 1st round pick as part of the deal to acquire Deron Williams. Also, if they acquire Dwight to play along side Deron, they're going to have a pretty good team....so the 2013 and 2014 1st round picks they send us are going to be essentially useless. I've been back and forth on this issue but unless we can trade Dwight to a team and get lottery picks in return plus a slew of good players...I'd just assume let him walk for nothing. It would at least give us a good amount of cap room next year to start the rebuild.

I believe the Clippers have Minnesota's first round pick next year, if true that's a team I can see the Magic trading Howard to. For starters, they really want Howard, secondly a lotto pick next year combined with Jordan, Gordon, an additional 1st round pick and possibly more sounds like a good start. The Nets gave up Derrick Favors, Devin Harris, and two first round picks for Deron, so you'd have to assume that's just the starting point in terms of trade quality when discussing a Howard deal.

Yeah, Orlando should look around and see what else they could get for Howard. There have to be better deals out there.

DH12 and Griffin on the same team ??? talk about a clogged up paint. But if they made that work it would be insane.

I suspect the massive yawn that they were getting from the fans showed both sides they couldn't loose a season and have much revenue to come back to fight over.

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

Just not as awesome as CP3 and Dwight :)

Seriously, that would be the best PG/C duo the NBA has ever seen. It also would wreak havoc on Miami, as they have nothing but scraps at those positions.

That's a dumb trade for the Rockets, get Pau but lose Martin and Scola.
