I don't mind Mason Foster but he did lead the nation in tackles last season and we are still letting running backs rape us. If we take a LB I want a guy he is alway attacking foward and nasty. Kuechley looks a lot like  Ruud, we all knew wasn't too good but the rest of the NFL thought he was a great LB because his stats, and the fact that he was the captain.

In this case, trade down or take Martin/Kirkpatrick. Reach pick

Kuechley would be a ok pick in the 20s but no way is he the 10th best player in this draft.  He's not an elite athlete and needs to get bigger.

Burfict should be the pick if we are at 10. The only guy I'd take before Burict is Claiborne. If Burfict is off the board go Te'O
Given Burfict's disciplinary problems, how can ANYONE suggest he is a good first-round pick?
There was this:
http://content.usatoday.com/communities/campusrivalry/post/2011/08/arizona-state-vontaze-burfict-fight-teammate/1
and then this....

When somebody says ''the negatives outweigh the positives with him'' I shy away, particularly on a team with Talib, Tanard and an overall lack of leadership.

Kuechly would be a great pick as our LBs totally stink.  I think we will pick higher than 10 also.

They finally have us taking someone different in the first
1. Luke Kuechly LB - Walter's mock states we take him in the first and move him to MLB. I see if we do take him he is more suited at the WILL in the pro style offense. You give Foster another year at the Mike position and you see how Luke does replacing Hayes.
2. Johnthan Banks CB - To be honest I don't know to much about him.
3. Mike Brewster C - Has a chance to be an elite Center in this league.

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

TERRIBLE draft.

WE AREN'T GOING TO GO BACK-TO-BACK SEASONS WITH A ROOKIE AT MIDDLE LINEBACKER!  lol

Especially with Kuechly who is Ruud 2.0

EDIT:  They don't even have us addressing our terrible RB group until the 5th round??  Fail.

Only pick I like Brewster as he seems like a possible home run at the pro level.

Don't know a lot about him to be honest, but the off field stuff is scary.  We already have a player like that.

We haven't talked about Jeffrey much today or the last few days. I'm certainly open to picking him should we slide down a bit. But top five or six if Blackmon is gone? You think he's really THAT good, Blount Train?

Only current NFL player that has the hands and contortion ability that is superior is Calvin Johnson.   I am officially on the Blackmon bandwagon.

With our unfortunate lack of a fourth round pick, that sounds pretty realistic to me.
