What does this have to do with Harvin being allowed to do anything he wished with out fear of  any discipline from any in the UF athletic department?

Seeing how Fred Rouse was dealt with at FSU I would imagine Harvin would have suffered the same fate but that is JMO also supported by the expulsion of Coles earlier in Bowden's tenure.

Bowden in  my opinion continues to be one of the most admirable coaches I have viewed coaching football since I started watching in the late 50's.

At one time I actually put Paterno in the same class but Sandusky tainted that forever.

Bowden was indeed "one of a kind" that did things the RIGHT way. IMO
