He definately deserved the Heisman IMO...looks like he will be a great player at the next level.

Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing. But mediocre makes you live with the delusion for too many years. He is just good enough to waste our time and not good enough to get us where we want to go.

Yep, interested to see what he can do. But on another thought if Luck was in a spread offense I think he would win the heisman.

And if Monte Ball did what he did this year playing for an SEC team...he probably wins the Heisman....JMO

I agree people hold the SEC at such higher standard, that's why Richardson got more votes with lesser stats than Ball. Also Congrats to Baylor for getting your 1st Heisman.

Luck didn't even deserve to be there. He got there purely based on his name. His stats were not Heisman worthy.

Assuming TB is drafting around #5, who do you draft?  If Luck or RG3 falls into your lap, are you a fool not to grab and go considering JJ is gone next season?

Who care what jj does if were considering drafting a QB? Luck will not drop to us and you don't draft any top QB at this point when we have Freeman who has a ton of talent. If Freeman looks like garbage next year then we can just get the top QB(most likely tyler wilson) next year.

Then you open for bids. Trade down and get a 2nd and maybe an extra 1 next yr, plus some lower picks.

If not, I'd take the QB then try to trade him ala NYG and SD with ELi/Rivers. If that doesn't look favorable then I'd take Claiborne at 5.

The best thing about having a no. 5 could be in the second, we'd have a great shot at Hightower

We will regret keeping Freeman instead of drafting RG3

Lame. If Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer can win a SB...the certainly Josh Freeman has the capability.  Lets actually build around Freeman instead of calling him a failure because he doesnt have an "S" on his chest.

RG3 is a guy who could drop a lot. I like his game but he's listed 6'2" 220. If he just drops a bit to 6'1" and 212 at the combine that will start the gears grinding about him not being the right size (height or weight) to be an NFL QB.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.
