Buccaneers tight end Kellen Winslow talked briefly to the media this morning and made it clear he feels head coach Raheem Morris should stay.

Kellen Winslow should be added to the substance abuse test list by the NFL.  He is obviously high!

"we would be devastated"

Kind of like the fans feel every week watching a blowout.

Ultimately, there are two reasons players like playing for certain coaches:

1) Either the coach is permissive and allows undisciplined players to do as they wish or
2) A coach is strict and gives disciplined players the structure within which to succeed.

Anybody have any ideas which category soldier boy and his cohorts fall into?

Winslow says this because if Morris were fired, there would be no guarantee that Winslow would be back.

That's because it would mean the end of the lackadaiscal lifestyle they likely all enjoy right now. A new coach might -- gasp! -- make them work hard and hold them accountable for stupidity and lazy play.

We all know better than Winslow. He only plays for the team.

I don't get how people can't acknowledge that sometimes, you just don't have the guys to get the wins.

It\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s about building a base, being physical, and restoring pride. It\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s time for the Bucs to return to being FEARED.

Devastation is certainly how I would describe having to watch this team play every week. Here's a thought for the players - don't want your coach fired? Stop quitting on him. At least the '09 Bucs fought hard and never quit.

If he means that much to all of the players, why have they let it get as bad as it has gotten??

And would be worse because of that? I'm ready to bring in rookies and go 0-16 if it means getting rid of players like K2.

Fair question. The team is young and not battle tested. Some of the few proven vets are failing the team, and there is no depth to really make them care. Major leadership deficit...  Dom or Glazers, that's a major issue.

If the team and and fans mean so much to the Glazers, why have they been the cheapest funded team over the last 7+ years. That's a fair (and larger) question too.
