Dre Kirkpatrick or Trent Richardson              in the 1st
Dont'a Hightower or Mark Barron                   in the 2nd

I wouldn't be opposed to Richardson and maybe Hightower.  I'm a little concern he isn't athletic enough for a 4-3.  Baron is an ok prospect but wouldn't be my first choice in the 2nd.  Kirpatick is ok for a mid 1st but not for where we will probably be picking.  all are legit NFL day 1 prospect though.

If we are picking top 5 which is a possibility I think we should go BPA and take Richardson. I really think he will have an Adrian Peterson type of game changing ability. He's an every down back and him and Blount would terrorize defenses. Having Blount and Richardson split time would also help on 3rd downs. No more Lumpkin = pass. Richardson can run/catch/block, and Blount can stick with 1st and 2nd downs.

Few guys I think are 100% no's but Richardson is one of them. We have an RB than can get 1000+ yards. Not a need or an issue but we do need a 3rd down back. The value on RB's at the top of R1 is lousy and our particular situation makes it even worse. Combo backfields are great but you don't spend top 10 picks to do what a second day pick can do as well.

agree, much more of a luxury and we dont have that at this time.

all the logic in the world doesn't make bypassing AP a good move.  if you have a chance to get a "great" player you take him.  That is if he grades out as such.

There were better players than AP available.  My guess is there will be better players than Richardson as well
