Norv develops QB's Marty's offenses are where QB's go to die. If you want Freeman to have the best shot to become something, whatever that upside he has is, his best shot is with Norv not Marty.

At least we know he wouldn't abandon the run

Does Marty come with his own walker or do the Bucs have to supply that?

I think the Bucs are going to be required to supply that along with a motorized scooter....that may be why there are rumors of traffic lanes being added in the hallways of OBP....

Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing. But mediocre makes you live with the delusion for too many years. He is just good enough to waste our time and not good enough to get us where we want to go.

I swear our fanbase just wants a "name".

If we are going for a name, why not get a dude who is a guy who is quirky, a dude the fans will love, gets the most out of his players, and does a good mix of discipline and not being hated.

I know it usually doesn't work but Les Miles would be a good hire, especially if we start him off by drafting Mo Claiborne.

I'd prefer Schottenheimer.

How can people even entertain Norv as HC? His career win % isn't even at 500.

I haven't seen anyone talk about hiring Turner as our new HC, all the talk is of trying to land him as an OC, a role that he is great at.

Norv Turner is a great OC but has ALWAYS been a horrible HC. His first few years in San Diego he was winning with the same team Marty built. AJ Smith was a fool to fire Marty. They were consistently winning that division. MArty would be a GREAT hire here in Tampa. This is a guy that can build a team and has a proven football pedigree and philosophy. Get him in here to captain this sinking ship!

My wish list in order would be Schottenherimer, Cowher, Chudzinski, Miles.

Cowher used to be at the front of that line, but the more I think about it the more I think Schottenheimer would be a perfect fit. My only concern would be his age - dude is 68.
