Yeah....we definitely need a coach that couldn't even keep a college job and the last year he was a head coach in the league was 4-12.

He is such a whiner too -- would hate to have him as our leader

And you do realize Raw doesn't even have this team competitive...ANYTHING IS AN UPGRADE over a coach that has NEVER EVER been a coach anywhere prior to here

Not saying he is the right choice, but he did win 3 NFC north titles in a row. He was 57-39 at GB.    That might be more Farve than coaching.

It's quite easy to suggest who "could" be on the list....plus it's John Clayton which automatically makes one doubt the credibility of the story.

I think it's the type of name that makes sense for the Bucs. He has a winning record in the nfl.  He has a lot of experience, he is some what of a name, and he will come cheap.  I'm not saying I like it, but that is the type of coach I could see them hiring.

I agree.  I'm not saying the guy will even be good but we would be at least competitive.  Again, the new coach will need 1 or 2 seasons to fix the mindset of this team.  The players are not going to like a HEAD COACH that demands respect and is not their best friend.

Nobody worth a damn wants to coach the Bucs and their sad $40 million payroll.

Hopefully, the ownership group doesn't have the same attitude as you. We need the best coach we can get. Let's not
accept "anything" just because it's an automatic upgrade.

\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\"
