Both are highly unlikely.

Fangio, the defensive coordinator of the Niners. The man knows linebackers and that's our biggest weakness.

Lovie Smith?  Do you follow Chicago sports?  he has a 0% chance of being fired

give me

1. bill cowher (never happen)
2. jeff fisher
3. jon gruden (never happen)
4. steve marriuci
5. Raheem Morris

Id rather suck another year and get a great pick if im not getting a top 3 or 4 coach

why not?

He gets his teams to WIN no matter where he goes.

I don't want Fisher, or Coughlin, or The Chin.  Schottenheimer is The Right Man for the job.

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

Evidence shows that, while he does in fact keep his teams competitve pretty consistently, he sucks huevos in the playoffs...unless its the UFL playoffs...

Is he "THE RIGHT MAN"?...I dont think that any of us can say 100% that any of our favs for HC are that...we just have to cross our fingers and hope that whomever the Glazers bring..can turn things around quickly like fellow NFC south teams did with the hirings of Peyton and Smith....I we get Marty and he turns out to be "The Right Man"..then I'll be happy to say I was wrong...I just make the "meh" sound when I hear it...paired with the face tha tlooks like I just ate a sour lemon.

I'd give old Marty a shot....as long as he brings in a good DC to take care of this mess on defense.
