I expect Julio Jones to be the #2 receiver in the entire NFL behind only CJ soon enough.

Gave up too much but it's worked out for them so far. Depends on his health, dude was always hurt in College.

Terrible trade for a team with no defense. Julio won't help 'em vs the Saints or Packers.

I thought Lovie said he wanted quickness & speed, even at the QB position?

I don't, but if he did he was right. They gave up way too much expecting him to be the difference for them this season, and meanwhile they're well on their way to a 5 seed with 3 teams in the NFC alone clearly better than them. Just because he's owning us doesn't make it a good trade, we couldn't tackle Steven Hawking without his wheelchair right now.

That's Raheem's "controlled chaos" defense that he runs.

I wish we had the Falcon's problems.  we Buc fans have no right to talk crap about their situation.

Exactly. But it sells tickets. Can't believe Heemie had an opinion on this that showed a partial clue.

They've done worse than they did last year. Lets see how they do in the playoffs

With what they gave up for Jones, the Falcons must win a SB for it to be worth it. They have Gonzalez for another year and Turner for a couple more so the window is closing

It was an "all in" deal ....much like the Bucs giving up the picks for Gruden.  If they get to (and win) a superbowl in the next 2-3 years it will be a great deal ...if not they'll feel the pain of not having those picks as their current players start going south.

True.   Regardless, Raheem hasn't earned the right to be making fun of anyone.

Yeah...a lot he knows...as well as the rest of us.

Any idiot could see that that trade was dumb.  Now I bet they'll try to trade Roddy to salvage those draft picks that it turns out they need.
