Yeah that was a bad trade if you look back on what happened, and what may happen in the near future.

Mike Williams was a 4th rounder and had better stats his rookie year than Julio.

The Falcons don't pick until the tail end of the 2nd round.

Lmao. Julio helped them score TDs. Prime example why you don't trade the farm for a WR.

What's funnier, the Falcons performance or the idea that Java is an accountable entity?!

Watching the Falcons lose is always fun  :)

Most likely, but CJ was the #1 WR(maybe the top player) in his draft while Jones was the #2 WR,and it also depends on the situation.

for a team already with a pro bowl WR no. But CJ and jones aren't comparable Jones wasnt even the best WR in the draft and had stone hands.

Its funny because all the NFL analysts were comparing JJ to CJ - I do not see any resemblance as CJ is a one in a decade type.

The falcons really bet the house like they were 1 player away and they didnt progress at all. Then you go out an damn near hit the salary cap for a run of the mill defensive end. What did he get 4 or 5 sacks? Abrahams getting old. You still need a defensive end. No first rounder. Daunte Robinson is average. Grimes is gone because they cant afford him. There is a chance to leap them in the south next season. Crazy thing is, panthers are in the best position to do so.

A lot he knows...

Raheem is unemployed...Atlanta tacked 42 first half points on his team....and the Falcons are in the playoffs again, in part thanks to Jones.

The Falcons did lose to the Bucs, and they hurt their draft in 2012.

you think they care - they gave up their number one anyway.....gave up 2011 and 2012 first round picks, a 2011 second round pick and both 2011 and 2012 fourth round picks....that's the whole point of the thread.

Actually yes it stings to lose all that.
