What is this idiotic fetish with college coaches? Heckle and Jeckle better at least find a name that has some NFL background.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.

I don't understand either. They don't do well in the NFL.

Rick Stroud forwards, "620 WDAE in Tampa reporting that Rutgers coach Greg Schiano is possibly going to be the Bucs new head coach."

A piece of me wants it to be Chip Kelly again... But this time you blow him away with the type of money that takes care of any "unfinished business". Chip Kelly was so close to being the HC that Oregon hired his replacement before he even finalized the contract in principle... Far-fetched I know but I can dream cant I..? LOL

Lol, while he has brought a little bit of stability to Rutgers. This would be an awful hire.

Schiano has briefly been in the NFL and rutgers isn't a recruiting powerhouse so I'll buy he at least knows how to coach. Was really looking for more of a strong NFL background in a HC.

It just makes no sense. I get they want a guy who will coach this team for a long time if he works out, but there are better options. FAs won't be knocking the door down to play for this guy.

Anything is possible, it's just speculation. Nothing concrete if I'm not mistaken.

I live up here in Jersey and I can tell you all that Greg is a damn good head coach.  He completely turned around that program himself.  He seems like he is somewhat of a disciplinarian I just am not too sure how he will translate to the NFL.  I will tell you that the guy can flat out coach up a team though.

It makes no sense because his coordinators will also be new guys I would assume. So we are back at stage one

Guarantee you hear that coughlin was a BE college coach who beat another college coach in the title game. This will ingore that both coughlin and harbaugh had extensive NFL experience.
