every coach we hire will be mired in mediocrity. there are no perfect coaches.
parcells hasnt won a playoff game in over 20 years. and that includes 12 seasons. and he sure didnt do much in miami.

Unless Parcells figured out a way to get to the Super Bowl without winning a playoff game the above statement would be incorrect.
17 seasons and only 5 playoff appearances...enough said.
It's pretty easy to have consistent winning when you have Brett Favre in his prime at QB.
