Certainly not at this point but look at the weapons Stafford has in comparison to Freeman.  That has to be taken into account.  However, Stafford is playing at a high level

In 2010, Josh Freeman.

In 2011, Matt Stafford.

So currently, Stafford, but what does the 2012 season have in store?

Freeman does not have a megatron to just throw the ball up too.  Nor a Megatron to depend double triple coverage .... Freeman does have WR's that lead the league in drops.  Just saying

2011 Stafford > 2010 Freeman.

And Stafford was playing good before he got hurt.

Weapons really aren't that different. Megatron >>> all, but after that? Winslow at worst is as good as Pettigrew, Parker and Titus Young are a wash. Kevin Smith < Blount. Stafford makes his guys better.

Stafford is having a strong year, still surprised that he didn't get the Pro Bowl nod.

Stafford is having a great year...no doubt...

But it's an unfair question/comparison.

Give Freeman Stafford's weapons or close to it and then we'll see.  Hell Stafford could still be better...might not....could be around the same...

Hopefully we see Freeman get some more weapons and better OL play...

It was never a question if Freeman was BETTER, but rather a better pick... this is Stafford's first complete season. Talent doesn't matter if you don't play (ask GMC)

Kurt Warner had his top 5 QBs of 2011 as:

5) Eli Manning
4) Matt Stafford
3) Tom Brady
2) Drew Brees
1) Aaron Rodgers

can't really disagree with it either.
