Per Rotoworld: According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, Marty Schottenheimer, Brad Childress, Mike Zimmer and Wade Phillips are among the names the Bucs are interested in for their head-coaching vacancy. Aside from Zimmer, each has extensive head-coaching experience, a sign the Bucs are looking to hire the anti-Raheem Morris. Morris had never been a head coach before his hiring in 2009, and had never even coordinated a defense at the NFL level. Schottenheimer has not coached in the NFL since 2006, while Childress and Phillips were both fired mid-season in 2010. Edit: More details... mortreport Chris Mortensen Bucs clearly want seasoned coach to replace Morris; Mike Sherman, Brad Childress (interview Mon), Wade Phillips & Mike Zimmer r candidates
mortreport Chris Mortensen Marty Schottenheimer is on Bucs' radar but not at top; he is hungry to coach. Note that Marv Levy went to his 4th Super Bowl at age 68.
(Marty is also 68...)
