Absolutely. Although maybe the Bucs would shake the quit out to defend their NFL honor. (Trent Richardson vs. Bucs D equals at least 300 yards.)

Look, I am not going to kid myself. There is no way I can compete with your masterpiece threads like:

or

But I am going to keep trying to escape from your shadow. It will not be easy.

Greg Olson is a bad NFL Offensive Coordinator because he overschemes. By that, I mean that he overthinks things and tries to outsmart everyone on the defense. NFL defenses are coached to learn how to read OL's stances and WR stances (for instance) before the snap to see how things are going to go.

If we called a Benn end-around against Alabama, I bet it would work 7 out of 10 times. 3 of those he would go the distance for the score. It's completely different.
Greg Olson is a bad OC because he runs every first down, has never heard of the downfield pass, and has such predictable playcalling, a madden playbook has more depth.

Whether I'm right or you're right, you have no idea how well coached that Alabama team is.

but Olson was actually a pretty successful coach at the college level.  and Saban at the pro level wasn't.  you can't compare them fairly.

He definitely doesn't need to try very hard.

Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing. But mediocre makes you live with the delusion for too many years. He is just good enough to waste our time and not good enough to get us where we want to go.
