DTG, obv you stated you don't know who it could be, but how strong is this source to at least for you to believe there is another mystery guy?

A very trusted source. The only part that bothers me is that they can't identify the candidate by name.

Would this mean it's a candidate from the NY area (or a media-type that spends much of their time in NY) or could your source have national info?

Les Miles is not my idea of a good coach for the BUcs.  It would be sheer desperation and stupid again.

Must be a reason not to reveal the candidate's name at this time (recruiting, existing contract, etc).

After being spurned by a college coach in Chip Kelly I doubt its an other college HC. Maybe they've convinced Cowher after all.

Maybe they do know the name, but are withholding it from you. Because I agree, it has to be hard to know there is another mystery guy, but not really know who it is.  Since it is a New York contact, maybe they are trying once again to get Cowher to want to come, especially with Arians available now. Just a thought, but If not him it's hard to think of another good splash guy besides a Les Miles (though I am not sure how he would do in the NFL).

He's primarily provided me NY-based information in the past, but his reach is potentially national. Bear in mind that many agents and reps are based out of NY, so that plays into it.

How hilarious would that be if true. Chip has another change of heart and accepts Bucs deal. haha

FYI, I have also been told to pay attention to the name Greg Robinson. That doesn't mean he's the mystery candidate.

I would want literally every other coach in the SEC before I'd take Les Miles.  He's not known as a motivator, a schemer, or a leader... he's shown an inability to game plan, make in-game adjustments, and operate without elite talent.  I seriously cannot figure out why this guy is respected as a head coach.

I haven't heard anything from my source which leads me to believe something secretive is going on. I can't wait for this to be over.
