Ken Whisenhunt has denied the Bucs permission to interview Arizona WR coach John McNulty for the OC position in Tampa. McNulty may appeal that denial to ownership.

Whisenhunt is such a clown. What team doesn't allow interviews for potential position upgrades? Kind of an unwritten rule.

Um...Gruden and Allen were notorious for this.

Karma strikes back.

And I don't recall gruden being "notorious" for this, they did it once.

Its actually a rule, and it makes sense. It goes back to business ethics 101, don't sign a contract if you don't intend to fulfill it.

Allen and Gruden didn't allow lateral moves from our coaches, much like every team does. Unless i'm just forgetting some guy wanting to interview for a better job and they denied it? Marinelli left for a HC job, Joe Barry left for a DC job, Tomlin left for a DC job, Lovie left for a DC job(before Gruden/Allen but still). Who am I forgetting?

Lame move by Wisenhunt. He doesn't HAVE to let him interview for the job, but most coaches let their guys pursue a better job opportunity. McNulty could be missing out on his one chance to make a name for himself in the NFL because of Wisenhunt.

Hue Jackson please

Or Cignetti.  Either one would be satisfactory.

I don't want Cignetti for anything but QB coach.
