Anyone catch the Rich Gannon interview on DUI-dog this afternoon? Called Josh "special" and thinks he's capable of being a very good QB.

Josh can be what he wants to be. His mistakes he made in 2011 he didn't make in 2010. Shows me the mistakes are correctable. He's just going to have to put his work in and get his receivers on the same page as well.

Sorry, but I don't buy the argument that playing in the league makes you an expert.
Sharp, most young NFL QBs don't start to be able to read and dissect coverages and whatnot easily until their 4th or 5th year. I think Freeman will be just fine but he definately needs to be coached up by a guru or someone that is a great QB teacher. It would accelerate that process and get him back on track. IMO you don't throw 25 TDs and 6 INT as a fluke, and let's be honest, that BUCS team wasn't the greatest team ever either...he didn't have many WR weapons to work with outside of Mike Williams & Winslow.
I will go out on a limb and say that Dilfer and Gannon have forgot more football than probably anyone on this board will ever know, myself included. I think Josh can be a top 5 QB in the right system and with the right weapons, i.e deep threat & running game
