The only way I take TR is if Blackmon, Claiborne, and RG III are gone.

If RG III is there, I trade down and hope TR falls to me between 10 - 15. If not, BPA.

The only way I'd take Richardson, is if he's there in the 2nd round.

Dude is a freak athlete no doubt.  I honestly don't see a way I'll be upset come draft day.  Claiborne, Kalil, TR or Blackmon and I'm happy.

I have a friend who is a huge Alabama fan, so I saw almost every single game this year. TR is most definitely a beast. I think he has the opportunity to be an elite type of player at the NFL level, but not as an every down back.

If we picked him up, and made him a 3rd down specialist, our offense could become very dangerous very quickly.

You want to use the #5 pick in the draft to take a 3rd down back?

I said IF we picked him up and used him that way, he could be a very dangerous player. But, no, I don't think drafting him is a good idea considering where we are.

If they are, that means that Kalil or Luck(lol) are still on the board.  In that case, I take one of those two players without anything vaguely resembling hesitation.

Richardson as a 3rd down back lol...cmon man!  Richardson is what BLOUNT will NEVER be, a complete RB that is a THREAT whenever he's on the field

I've watched him play a lot. He's not an AP type, more of a Johnathan Stewart type. Still a great player, but more of a situational runner and pass catcher who excels when the defense is caught off guard.

I'm starting to wane off the Kalil (Reiff any tackle), pick.  I don't see a valid reason to drafting a RT at #5.  Sure, he is a LT, but Penn is very good and I can't see why they'd make a pick that really won't help this team that much for at least 2-3 years.

I've seen him play as well and he's 1 million times better than BLOUNT!  Idk why we have so many BLOUNT homers on this board.  The guy is a one-trick pony and lacks effort

I wouldn't complain.  He looks like he will be an NFL stud.

No doubt about it, the guy is a beast. I've never questioned his talent but I have questioned the intelligence of taking a RB that high. Look all over the league and you'll see guys drafted later on in the draft having success. My personal thought is we're a better team with a great Oline to pass block and run block than with a great RB and a not so good offensive line.

A #5 RT would help this offense a lot. Blount gets hit in the backfield often, so would Richardson. You can't expect to have consistency out of the running game when our RB have to break a tackle just to get back to the LOS.
