David Garrard or Shawn Hill.

Brunell is 41. He's a coach at this point, not a player. I'd take him as a QB coach....but no thank you as a roster spot and sole back up to Free.

Brunell would probably beat out Freeman.   They are fine with JJ riding the pine if they want to stick with Freeman (which they should not).

Heck, I'd take 5 of the top 6 (Garrard the exception), and start them over Freeman.

Im guessing if JJ goes, they will bring in Garrard, Campbell, Orton, or maybe even McNabb.

David Garrard, Jason Campbell or Donovan McNabb would be my choices for backup. I'd bring JJ back as a #3 but he'll probably have better opportunities elsewhere.

lol, Id be willing to trade TBXXX to the Saints for cheeseburger. And by that I mean Ib be willing to give them the cheeseburger and TBXXX just to get rid of him. He isnt worth the money hes making and it only ruins fan chemistry. Im pretty sure a sock puppet could provide more to this fan base.

Exactly man. Freeman with proper coaching and added skill player is better than everyone on this list not named Brees.
