I'm watching NFL network  sapp just said he has the inside track on Tampa Bay. Strongly  looking to get Dwayne Bowe, Mario Williams and Laurent Robinson.

That would surely put butts in seats....

Sapp has 'suggested' if he was given $67 million, he would go out and get Dwayne Bowe. Further cites he feels the organization missed out on the WR class last season. The information provided in this excerpt doesn't reveal any inside information to the actual front office's plans. Just a hypothetical. Sorry for the confusion.

I'd like Dwayne Bowe. Him and Mario would be a nasty FA.

Warren and Dom had a 4:15 tee time?

Why we spend big money on two FA receivers? I call BS.

Lol!  Well played sir.   Just the fact the Sapp is talking about this gives me more optimism that the Bucs will make a strong FA push even if it isnt these three specific players

No reason not to target multiple receivers, you always want back up plans.

The other thing to consider (mentioned this in another thread yesterday) is KC has a lotta scratch to play with this offseason as well so it's not automatic that Bowe or Brandon Carr will get out of their building...I doubt Pioli is willing to let those guys just walk away unless he has assurances of replacing those guys with similar talent.

My take is that Sapp is forever a Buccaneers fan no different from any of us, and he is just throwing names out there that he either wants us to get or thinks we might get.

I think they will tag one of them. Most likely Bowe because he is a top 10 talent and better player Carr is. Chiefs will be able to get cheaper #2 CB's than Carr will command.
