I've always thought he looked better at center than Faine. I'm confident he will be a solid starting center for us.

He is an average RG though, so I hope we aren't giving him a fat contract to play RG.

After looking at that though, Zuttah might be more like $3M to $4M a year.

I think he will get a 5 year and $35 million deal to play center. Faine has been ok, nothing special as more hype than anything else. Even when he is not injured he seems to be invisible at times.

Good. Save the big cheddar for our FA targets. Make Zuttah earn more by producing results.

This space for rent....*sigh* I trusted you coach.

Probably end up being a contract full of performance bonuses, so it might be 5 years with a max of something like $35M, but in reality will probably pay like $20M to $25M over the life of the contract.....but people will just look at the max potential and freak out saying we overpaid.

Zuttah is  a way better center then he is guard. It doesn't surprise me at all that in 2010 we played better when faine was hurt and zuttah was moved into his spot. Put a good lg next to him and our c of the future is going to be pretty good.

I like the Zutt man, cut Faine and pick up Brewster in the draft for depth.

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

The Bucs have told LaMontagne they want Zuttah to be a part of their future under new coach Greg Schiano and Zuttah wants to be a part of that future, LaMontagne said.

Geez, do they have an editor at The Tribune?

Glad to see Zuttah will likely remain a Buc. A kid who has talent and will hopefully benefit from Bostad's scheme.

He did play center at Rutgers I believe. Either way his re-signing is a good thing. Hopefully he is at center and Faine does get released though.

IIRC, he actually played every position except C at Rutgers.

I projected him as a C at this level & it seems it was correct.

Chris Myers probably jumps to #1 after he signs somewhere.

Faine should be shot for that contract

Don't think it wise to release Faine until they sign/ draft a LG.

It would leave this line way too thin depth wise.
