Claibourne is taller, faster, and a better tackler. He's also never been in trouble with the law, whereas Jenkins was arrested three times in one year. Case closed.
Again, who has Claiborne ever shut down of note?

The midget receivers from Arkansas? Marquis Maze? The scat backs from West Virginia and Oregon? At least when we drafted Talib, he'd guarded some big time receivers.
He was the best player on the best defense in College Football.

Jenkins played a year in D2

Claiborne is an elite CB and will be our pick. I am more then happy with that. I would not take Jenkins over Claiborne ever. The ONLY player worth taking over Claiborne is Matt Kalil and its honestly a toss up if hes even there.

Actually, that would be Dont'a Hightower or Courtney Upshaw, both of which I'd take over Claiborne.

Jenkins played a year in D2 but the year before he shut down Alshon Jeffery, Julio Jones, and A.J. Green.

If you asked people last year who the best defensive prospect was...they said Patrick Peterson.

This year, people will say its Morris Claiborne.

Claiborne is the best defensive player prospect in this draft.

Actually, it wouldn't.

It would be Mo Claiborne

Who was the best receiver Darrelle Revis ever shut down at Pitt?

That is your best argument? Really?

Janoris Jenkins got kicked off the team. Is that really what you want in a player?

Probably Tiquan Underwood or Jeff Semardzija. Jeff was better than anyone Claiborne faced.

And Revis was drafted 14th overall. He got his monicker as best corner in the NFL by shutting down top receivers in the league.

Yeah, he hasn't proven he can cover elite players.

Exactly. His claim to fame was having shut down a baseball pitcher and a 7th round draft pick, and he is now the best CB in the NFL. So you're argument means jack squat.

Either way, no thread on this board is going to make me change my mind about Claiborne. Dude is a beast and hes the guy I want at #5. He fits a need and is the best defensive player in the draft. I will not be surprised at all if he goes #3. I just hope to god he doesn't.
