WR for next years

I'm liking our WR corp this year. VJax/MWill/Benn/Briscoe/Parker, Gant & Webber battle for the final 2 spots. I think we will carry 6 WR's on the roster this year.

That's the key. I think free its going to have his best year this season tho. more competence steering the ship

How'd he look during training camp last year?

How could you not be excited about Webber? I know it's a lesser division with weak competition, but you can clearly see he has outstanding hands, body control, and route running. Add to that the speed with the 6'3" 220lb frame...and you have a very exciting underdog prospect. On top of all that, if you watch the entire highlight video....there is a blocking highlight at the end and he is a tenacious blocker. That's the type of mentality we want. Very excited about the kid.

How'd he look during training camp last year?

That's when I noticed him. I didn't even know his name, but I was at an open camp taking pics and he just stuck out. I was like "who is this #86?!?!?!" A shame he got hurt, but I really think he can be good if he stays healthy. The most notable thing about the guy in camp was his ability to control his body in the air and pluck the ball. Not really sure if he has great speed or not.

He looked better than Mike Williams and Briscoe? Interesting. Keep us posted for those that can't attend. I remember reading about the kid but his blend of size and speed is intriguing.

I like the possibility of having both Webber and Gant on the roster, but I doubt we will keep 7 recievers, so Gant and Webber will have a huge competition this coming camp.

I think Jackson, Williams, and Benn are pretty much guaranteed spots....but the last (two or three?) spots will be open competition. Briscoe, Parker, Stroughter, Webber, and Gant will all be on even ground, fighting for those last few spots in my mind. I can't imagine Schiano or our new OC will have an bias coming into camp.
