Adam Schefter
First deal of day is in: CB Eric Wright reached agreement with Tampa Bay, signing deal today.

Not bad, not bad at all...

Now, for Nicks... :).

Need to see the numbers. Hope we didn't overpay. Wright is very average.

Yep....he's okay....seen him get burned a few times last year with the Lions so little wary of him.....would've preferred Brandon Carr personally.....but on the other hand he's not Elbert Mack or EJ Biggers!!

Well....we know it is a 5 year deal.  Solid number 2 guy, hopefully we didn't pay number 1 money.

A fine depth signing, a good enough NB.
He was very good in Cleveland until his final season, then went on to Detroit and continued mediocre play. Hope Greg and crew can regain early CLE form.

don't really follow the Browns but I liked him coming out of the draft.  is he better than Biggers?  is he a slot CB?

Yeah he's a 2/3 corner . Big improvement over starting Biggers , that's for sure...

He's 5'10" - 190

Credited with 74 tackles, 1 Forced Fumble and 4 INT's last year with Lions

First meh signing IMO

wow... not only did Dom work last night past 4pm, he was back at it before 9am.  Wife must be out of town :) j/k

I guess I'm ok with this because we need Corners badly right now, but he's not what I consider "top notch".  Thought this was the type of guy we'd go after later on in FA.

The Bucs needed CB help, and getting CB help...geez.

Besides, nothing says the Bucs won't get another one or two in FA.

Last year most of the board was pining for Eric Wright. This year everyone is like Meh. Because hi name is not huge? The guy is a better CB than anyone we have on our roster, he is 26 years old, and he is now a Buc. What's not to be excited about?
