Anyone else really nervous about this oaf being our back up QB? I mean this is the guy that ran out of the back of the endzone in that Lions game. He also played a big role in two of the worst teams of recent history....the 0-16 Lions of 2008 and the 2-14 Colts of 2011. I've never seen anything frommthis clown to make me the least bit comfortable with him being our #2 guy. If Freeman goes down we are **CENSORED**ed. I hope we at least tried to go after Jason Campbell. He would have been a huge signing for us.

Actually, he played a big role in getting the Colts their wins - he only started 5 games, and they were 2-3 with him, 0-11 without him. 

For all the Josh Johnson love around here, he was 0-5 as a starter.

Nope.  The Colts probably would have beaten the Bucs last year if he plays instead of Painter.  He's fine as a back-up.

Orlovsky is a clown of a QB, no doubt about it. Dominick is much more comfortable with his golden boy QB having no competition at all for his spot, so it only made sense to not re-sign JJ and release the best QB on the roster(Rudy Carpenter) to give #5 a free ride.

Not sure if serious... If it is, excuse me while I laugh to death.  Jj was never competition because he sucked. Carpenter was terrible, and find me a team who have these great backups that are there to compete with their starter. I'll wait

From what I've noticed, it's mostly from the people that overvalued Josh Johnson.

For some people they see that we signed a QB from a bad team so then they think that he must be a bad player. Just the same with Eric Wright. He played for the Browns and the Lions, therefore he must suck.

Im not saying Orlovsky is a great player. But he's a decent backup. He's also been in the league for a little while so he can help Freeman out preparing for opposing teams.

Josh Johnson was the most overrated piece of crap ever to exist on this board.

I remember going to the Bucs-Skins game in 2009 where he got his first ever start. That was the most anemic, boring, absolutely awful display of offense I have ever seen. Granted there wasn't much to be excited about but it still remains as one of the most awful games i have ever been to.

If Gaines doesn't get that fumble and they score early...the game would have been below 6 points. Mike Nugent missed like 3 field goals....Johnson couldn't throw for crap. Talib doesn't pick off Campbell 3 times and that game would have been a blowout sadly.

Johnson sucked and was terrible in spot duty. Orlovsky isn't the answer...but he sure is better then Josh ever will be. At least hes WON a game.

All in all....I wanted Kellen Moore as the back up
