Bucs could potentially open the season against the defending champs

Just throwing this out there:

The 2012 regular season season will begin on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at the home of the defending Super Bowl XLVI champion New York Giants (it will be the third appearance for the team). The possible opponents include the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns, and Pittsburgh Steelers.

My best guess is that they would open against the Packers considering they were the previous champs, but who knows!

The Giants are notoriously slow starters. Would definitely be the best time to play them.

Oh the Bucs are getting prime times this year FO Sho. I can see a Thursday game (yuck), a MNF game, maybe an 8 o'clock game. Bucs have some intrigue. All my friends are amazed by the moves.
