A luxury pick that may cause either Stroughter or Spurlock or both to be cut (if we keep 6 WR).
However, it is doable due to the RB depth in this draft. I would favor Blackmon over TR because it is harder to hit on a stud WR.
Draft RB lower down and hedge on the lower RB pick by signing Tolbert. Madu goes to the PS.

However, we need a cheaper and more promising option than Trueblood at RT for next year. If we do manage to trade down, I would take Reiff instead of Blackmon and let him and True duke it out this year for a starting spot. Reiff takes over next year with Dotson continuing to back up (don't know what his contract is like though).

A possible con to the draft Blackmon idea - i really think we have our #2 and #3 WR's in this team already and that they can flourish if the scheme works.

All in all, my 2c is that IF Claiborne isn't available, RT (Reiff/Kalil) may be the best for the long term.

Blount isn't scaring anybodoy as a receiver. Put a LB on him and he is problem solved.

I'm warming up to the idea of selecting an offensive player with the 5th pick. We certainly don't need JB, but I'm ready for at least one area of this team to be dominant for a change. We definitely have needs elsewhere but it would be nice to have our receiving unit taken care of for the next 4-5 years.

we are a defensive minded team we might go get some offense in Free agency but i believe we will do all of our def work through the draft starting with CB at 5

If we don't feature Blount at running back, what do we do with him? He is nt the type of bac that can get 8 carries and be affective.

Who out of Jackson, Williams, and Blackmon would be playing the slot?

I actually like the idea...in this league you need to be excellent at something...let's have a top 5 , exciting offense. Blackmon in the 1st, martin in the 2nd, Travis Lewis in the 3rd.  V-jax, blackmon, mw19, benn, Winslow, blount, and martin....Freeman would have no excuse not to have top #s. Crazy good offense.

exactly

My point exactly.  OP is talking about 3 wide sets with Jackson, Williiams, and Blackmon.

Blount isn't scaring anybody

Vjax, Blackmon, Williams are great.

Blount sucks.

That would be the worst pick ever and completely drain the excitement flowing through Tampa right now. No way you take a WR at 5 after signing the best FA WR in 2012 with Williams and Benn already on the roster. Any scenario you can think of Blackmon wouldn't even be the BPA at 5 and with holes the Bucs have on defense, No chance.

I really think they are leaning towards taking a RB at #5 now.

If they do, it's just one more reason to fire Dominik A.S.A.P.
