I can't see the Bucs taking Blackmon at #5 after signing Vincent Jackson.

Think that's too much of a luxury at 5, not really a strong need, especially if Claiborne is there.

I can't either. But that would be a ridiculous offense.

With defenses forced to respect those guys - Blount would carve up defenses behind Nicks and co.

Frightening offense.

No need for Blackmon now. We still need more on defense.

Imagine 3WR set: VJax, Williams, Benn and mix in some Parker and Briscoe w/Blount at RB.

Yeah, i like that.

Gotta address LB, CB, S even pass rush.

4/21/2013 Two thirds of the Earth is covered by water. The other third is covered by Revis.

Honestly, Im not against that idea. However Id want to trade Benn in this case for a 3rd or 4th rounder. It would make things tough on defenses. If we did this Id want to sign a vet LB, RB, and probably another corner. Which is possible.

Me too.

Claiborne is definitely our most efficient pick in terms of need.

But if he is gone - and it comes down to Blackmon or Richardson - Bucs may regret not taking Blackmon in a league where wide receiver is becoming a hot, hot commodity.

I think you make mistakes when you don't pick BPA in first round.

I'd rank Blackmon much higher than Richardson in today's NFL.

Blackmon = Overrated.

He reminds me of Clayton. DO NOT WANT.

Ironic, isn't it? A VG wideout actually IS more important than a potentially excellent RB. Sounds ludicrous, but it could be true in 2012.

After Dominik drafts Blackmon, he'll call Benn & Williams to ask them what the 5 fingers said to the face.

If we sign Lofton and draft Blackmon in the 1st and Lamar Miller, Doug Martin or David Wilson in the 2nd, and a LB in the 3rd.......mine would move too. I think the Bucs like what they have at receiver now though.

That would go against what Schiano says his philosophy is, run first.
