I just wish we'd sign Tulloch, Mike Tolbert, and Amobi Okoye....and be done. All three of those guys together would cost us about $8M a year. WELL worth it.

8 mill combined?  Sign me up

I agree. I wanted (and still want) Tulloch over Lofton.

I'd even be willing to substitute Hawthorne for Tulloch and save a little bit more cash.  If we went this route, I think we wouldn't be drafting Martin and opt for more of a speedster like Hillman, though.

if we get Tolbert, we should only be looking at a RB in like the 3rd or 4th round IMO

Tulloch is aiming for 6 mill a year so i really doubt we would get all those for 8.

I figured $5M for Tulloch, $3M for Tolbert, and $2M for Okoye...so $10M......not sure how I got 8M.

I would much rather have lofton's leadership, but only for 6-8 million a season.

Wonder if Dominik can use McCoy as a double spy and get the inside scoop as to where Lofton's head is at.  I get the feeling that Lofton is using the Saints as leverage just like MD used the end of yesterday PC the same way.  This deal is all about the $$$

Patrick Willis and Ray Lewis make $7.5M a year. Lofton is on crack if he thinks he is getting $9M and we are idiots if we give him anymore than $6M/ year. Even $6M a year is high for a run stuffing MLB that isn't great in coverage.

IDK where you're getting your numbers... They're all supposed to be paid 5,555,555 (for 5 years).  8)

We get Tolbert, we draft Isaiah Pead in the 3rd round. Blount/Tolbert/Pead behind that line will be awesome. Pead will be an excellent 3rd down back with Blount/Tolbert pounding away on running downs.

This. I am not against the man for wanting his slice of the pie. It's just he wants most of it for himself. He is a downhill linebacker by ALL accounts. I am not opposed to bringing him in, but at even 6 mill it is overpaying the guy. Markets may change, but reality stays the same. He is a 2 down backer.

Please stop the Kuechly nonsense. The last thing we need is another rookie MLB. Luke is a good player, and if we had an established vet ahead of him, great. But we don't, and I don't want to see another rookie in the middle. Lavonte David and Foster book ending Tollich/Lofton/Hawthorne/Fletcher

Tulloch said he wants 6 mill.....so 8 mill will be a little short.

Same guy an hour later:

According to my information, the #Bucs have NOT made an offer to Curtis Lofton..that contradicts the story by WSB-TV in Atlanta
