Damn. This sucks. This guy would be a great value at about 3 - 4 mill per season, especially after last years disaster when we had no legitimately RBs. I thought we were gonna be a power running team??

Don't you have to have something to lose it?

I don't get that at all, especially after signing Leron McClain. Now, they'll have 4 guys capable of toting the rock while we have one. More confirmation, in my eyes, that Richardson is the pick.

I thought Lovie said he wanted quickness & speed, even at the QB position?

Bucs will be a power running team, but it will feature most likely a rotation.  Thus, don't expect mega money to be spent on RB's and FB's.

As much as I'd like to sign Tolbert...we have bigger needs at LB and there are a lot of good RBs in the draft this year that we can land in rounds 2-3. If Tolbert can be had for as little as $3 million a year...fine...but I don't want to spend much more. A draft pick can be as good if not better and much cheaper.

Whoa...shiver me ****in timbers!

I don't think the Bucs were serious about Tolbert.

I think Dom is afraid of another Derrick Ward situation.

To lose him you would have had to have wanted him.

Excuse me, but wouldn't the Bucs have to have a bit of significant interest in Tolbert before you can say that they are 'about to lose' him?

@RavensInsider
Mike Tolbert has a visit scheduled with an undisclosed team, according to his agent, Joel Turner.

Richardson will be gone to the Browns.

We lost Joe Thomas to the Browns now another great offensive player, Richardson. Now lets hope Claiborne doesn't suck as bad as Adams does.

No idea why you'd not want to kick the tires on him at least.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.

Quote
Mike Tolbert - RB - Chargers
The Kansas City Star reports free agent Mike Tolbert remains "very much in the mix" with the Chiefs.
The Chiefs reportedly "showed him big time." He also remains in talks with the Chargers. Speaking to Scout.com Thursday, Tolbert's agent claimed he's received interest from "at least" a dozen teams, and has another visit lined up with an "undisclosed" team. If the interest in Tolbert was actually that robust, it's doubtful he'd still be "very much" in the mix with a team that just signed Peyton Hillis.

Charles, Hillis, and Tolbert is quite a stable

If we can get this guy for the right price then its all good but I wouldn't give him premium money his stats just aren't that impressive. He had one really good year getting in the end zone but I am sure those were probably from within 10 yds....not that we don't need help in that dept.

Tolbert isn't Sproles.

Let him go.
