Wouldn't expect him too...I think his agent would make sure he doesn't state anything public either way. However, I am sure its a different story over the phone

if I am wrong with my prediction feel free to bump this and call me out but I am fairly confident I am not.  and IMO the financially prudent move would have been to draft the inside CB in round 2-3 instead of the pricey FA.  That is in addition to taking Claiborne #5.  So we would still be adding 2 CBs to the roster.

so our CB's next year would be claiborne-talib-a 3rd rounder-biggers-lewis-gator?  that could be going out a a very long limb.

I'm over Lofton. Really don't want us to sign him. He isn't very good in coverage in the first place, but he looks like an ass now and I'm not interested in greedy players that think they are worth twice as much as they really are. Give me Tulloch for $5M and be done with it.

Tulloch supposedly wants over 8 million a year...wants a bigger contract than Browns gave D'Qwell Jackson's 5 yr/42.5 Million

How was Wright brought in to be the third corner?

Hopefully they aren't expecting him to be any more because he's not very good

No one except maybe the Raiders would give him more money than Patrick Willis makes.
is Eric Wright worth more than Patrick Willis?  cause we paid him like he is.

Willis signed a 50+million $ contract extension last year. Wright signed a 37.5 million deal. Big difference.

so Willis averages $7 mil a year(7 yr/$50 mil) and Wright is making $7.5 mil these next two years.  sure a half mil is a big difference to working class guys like us but in their income bracket I guess I wouldnt say its that big of a difference.

Not even close man. Willis got 15 million up front in signing bonus. Wright did not. Your comparing to different positions that are paid on different scales by all teams. Add in that Willis has a escalator clause that would bump another 10.1 million to his deal.

Wright got a fair contract for his position. Now if Tulloch or Lofton gets a deal larger than Willis then we have something to debate.

Lofton and Madu are going back & forth, essentially, Lofton is saying the decision is not up to Madu, it's up to him. (Madu is putting a lot of pressure on him haha)

Just had seen this little exchange with someone and La Canfora on Twitter:

@jbailz15:
@JasonLaCanfora. What's up with Tampa? No more spending with all that cap space?

@JasonLaCanfora
@jbailz15 they used a ton of it my man and are still in on Curtis Lofton

Take it for what you will...
