You're missing the point. When people say value they aren't talking about becoming a bust. Value is about availability. If you take the top RB you're stuck with the 5th best CB at the top of the 2nd round. If you flip that around, take the best CB  first, then draft a RB at the top of the 2nd round you can land the 2nd best RB. The saints drafted the top rated RB at 28TH overall, while the first corner went number 5 to the cards.
 So, take the top rated CB and the 2nd or 3rd rated RB, or thetop RB and the 5th best CB who most likely can't contribute a lot right away. Value. Get it? Lets go a little deeper. This is a passing league. That means you need talented CBs. Since this is a passing league (we just spent 50 mill on a wide out) RBs are on the field less. Also every team uses multiple RBs making their impact even smaller.
