As most of us know by now, Carl Nicks is a beast.  I found a few films online which show a sign of things to come....

You can see a few plays with Nicks run blocking for Mark Ingram in this video.  See Nicks consume Hayward at 2:40

Here's older footage of Nicks at the senior bowl in 2008 dominating at LT.

Interesting that Nicks was playing at Tackle in the Senior Bowl, not Guard

You're right. @2:40 He completely takes him out of the picture. Heyward almost ended up on the other side of the field lol

Nicks was a LT in college.  He was too big and not quick enough to play OT in the NFL, but he's athletic and agile enough to be an excellent Guard.  Those are the type of players the Bucs should be looking for in the late rounds.  Fat, agile college OT that aren't quick enough to play OT in the NFL.

I'm on the "Draft Fat Guys" bandwagon as well! =)

I second it. We need somebody to push Joseph anyway. It kills me to think about our back-ups behind Joseph and Nicks. Our depth is incredibly weak. I'd take a flyer in the 5th. Brandon Washington needs to fall but doubt that happens.

Brandon Brooks (3rd/4th round pick) = Beast
This year's biggest Combine snub, Brooks measured in at 6'5/346 and posted outstanding workout numbers: 36 bench reps, 4.98 forty with a 1.71 ten-yard split, 32" vertical, 8'9" broad jump, and 4.52 short shuttle

MD can trade/release Joseph in 2013 (cap saving = $6 million)
Joseph is so overrated

or Rokevious Watkins (6th/7th round pick)

il like Derek Hardman... could be one of the best unknow backup in the league... ala Evan Mathis

Joseph is a top 5 RG in the League, Dom would be dumb to trade Joseph away. The Bucs really need to just get some better depth on the line, not focus on replacing the starters outside of Trueblood.

Joseph play doesn't look Top 5 to me... Top 10? no... Top 15? maybe... Top 20? sure
play like a 2nd tier RG in the league and paid like the best!

imo if Joseph play 2012 like 2011, 2010, 2009,... at 29, with no cap hit on his contract after this year, Dominik would be dumb to not trade Joseph asap!
Trueblood & Joseph are the Quincy Black/Geno Hayes of this Oline, they are on a one year prove-it deal!
