So if you were the GM and could not trade down, you'd pick Peter Konz or Coby Fleener at #5 (if Kalil isn't available)?

I don't know what I'd do to be honest. I'd take way less than the point chart says in order to move back and gain a pick. If that didn't work....just have to go with BPA I suppose. That could end up being Blackmon or Coples.

He'd trade our whole draft Ricky Williams style for Doug Martin if he could. Please don't give him that power , even hypothetically , lol.

of coarse not.  that would be stupid.  He'd trade it to the Eagles for Asante Samuels.

Where is Mike Martin projected to go? I don't think you can ever have too many guys with freakish work ethics/motors.

“Even if you get off my island, (Dashon) Goldson and (Mark) Barron are right there. You want to go across the middle and get tattooed, it is what it is.”

I think Martin is a 3rd rounder.

Man, Bucs are going to need to make a few trade backs to acquire all the third rounders I want them to get. :)

If we swapped 1sts for Asante and their second rounder, Asante would be valued at 220 points which is equivalent to the 74th pick of the draft. A mid 3rd rounder. Not sure why you think that is so insane.

Not a Sean Spence guy?

After doing a ton of research i elminated any player that would fit the old Tampa 2 defense. Spence is a good player but i doubt he fit the Schiano defense LB mold

whats the color key?

I was wondering the same thing.

Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing. But mediocre makes you live with the delusion for too many years. He is just good enough to waste our time and not good enough to get us where we want to go.

Good list overall from what I know of a few of these guys...

Out of the CBs..

I would want this guy over the ones named.

The Giants and Rutgers linebackers have always been undersized. I have no idea what makes you believe Spence does not fit that mold for our defense under Schiano and Sheridan.

I also like most of those guys Jdub.  There are a few I don't know anything about.

As to safeties, I like Brandon Taylor of LSU.

.....just my opinion

Skip's favorite 1...... T-Rich

do you have any issues with his knee?  I'd like more info on why he hasn't worked out yet.  If we are going to spend a #5 on this guy we really need to scrutinize this.
