The Bucs are still in the top 10 for cap room. That's not bad.

Yea he's got no excuse this year.

I'm glad we didn't go too crazy this free agency.

They could still cut a few guys, gaining more cap room.

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

It begs the question, what does JF have to do to get that contract? Is 8-8 considered successful enough, or do we need to see a playoff birth?

After the Glazers FA, I think they would be hard pressed to resign JF without another good season. I think he does fine, but we still have to talk about the possibility.

For me, its not necessarily about the play of the team, more about HIS play. Now is the time.

I find that slightly disturbing!!!

I see Freeman either having an amazing, career year and the Bucs have a 49ers-like season....or being craptastic. I don't foresee an average 8-8 year.

So basically after this season we're either going to either be forced into giving Freeman an insane contract, or be looking for his replacement.

Yup. T.B., Q.B., Winslow, Talib, Jackson, Ronde will retire.

Plenty of $....

So...LB FA acquisition too much to ask for after the mini-camps, Dom?

Hell, brees might not be as accurate as manziel.

Yippee! The Bucs settle in right where they usually are - bottom 6 in money spent. It's hilarious that they shelled out such huge deals and still find themselves in the bottom. Shows just how little they spent last year.

All the cap management fans can tighten their grip on the Glazers money and declare what a genius Dominik is for figuring out how to spend less money. The rest of the NFL are idiots and the Bucs know how to plan and spend wisely.

Crown 'em. The cap management champs again. Can't wait to roll over that money to next year and figure out a way to not spend it again.

Perhaps on a right track now, and there could well be more additions to this year's squad via FA.  For the first time since 2004 this might be headed in a winning direction.
