Historical Christianity: moderates support extremist causes (crusades, inquisition).
Modern Christianity: true extremists shunned, censured, shouted down (Phelps, abortion bombers).

Modern Islam: moderates still sacrificing their children to extremist causes (homicide bombers, jihad).

If you can't see the difference, you're not trying.

Moderate Muslims are sacrificing there children to extremist causes? You sure about that?

Islamic extremists are not shunned, censured, or shouted down by moderate Muslims? You sure about that?

We went through this - they can stop it with their adults - they haven't.

No, we don't need specific examples CBW - we have all seen the same things.

All we have are broad generalizations from Illuminator, so I'd say specific examples are necessary.

And while we watch the governmental support, we can acknowledge the Islamic terrorists are using the media.  There is no current valid comparison to be found within Christianity.  Christian religions seem to have matured, or evolved (and any other such term) beyond the need to kill those who belong to other religions.  And that happened a good while ago...

Muslim extremists don't kill people for belonging to different religions either. If that were true, then they wouldn't be killing other Muslims, and we both know that they do. They kill people who are in opposition to their political agenda, regardless of religion.
Islamic and Muslim terrorists don't have issue with killing other sects within their religion.  No doubt they target various other religions.  No doubt they target Americans in general.  No argument exists.  They will kill whomever they feel threatens their religion or simply is not a part of their religious sect.  Extremists is an invented term - and not invented or used by Islam or Muslims.  Too bad it isn't just extremists...
