31. Greg Schiano, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Harsh, I know. But Schiano has never coached at the NFL level. Making his gig harder was the struggle to assemble a staff. Rookie head coaches need a quality cabinet, and Schiano had to mix and match in order to get a decent group to turn around a 4-12 ballclub. Good luck.

He shouldn't even be listed yet since he hasn't coached a game but I guess if you had to put him somewhere might as well be the bottom.

Who cares where they rank a coach who hasn't even gotten a draft in yet? This is just BS filler for NFL.com.

Schiano has coached at the NFL level (DB coach/defensive assistant for Chicago). He got a great upcomer in Mike Sullivan to run the offense. He's attracted big free agents like VJ and Nicks. It's a terrible rating.

It's nonsensical. It's based on what? No preseason, no draft, ZERO real games. How can you rate something that doesn't exist? He could be No. 1 ... or No. 32. They should simply have a no-rating category.

Not sure based on track record Vitt would be lower than Rutgers. Rutgers NFL achievments are pretty much 0. Vitt has more skins on the wall than that.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.
If you think Manziel is the best QB in this draft I can safely assume you are an idiot and will treat you as such.

The necessity for his ability to coach is inversely related to the quality of players/team he can assemble.

Rah was ranked 9th last year and we see where that got us.  Just throw darts at a board (blind-folded) and you can make a ranking list just as good as this one.

Harsh is Vitt being last, Schiano should have been last or better yet absent from the list.

Theres probably 3 variables to this list, How many championships has the coach won, Where did his team end up last year, How big of a name is he with the fans..  Yay, I have a new article, now what should I write about next week?  Top 10 mascots? Top 10 QB's or better yet top 10 QB's OF ALL TIME!  Oh a good one, which stadiums have the best hotdogs. What team has the hottest cheerleaders anyone?

Yeah, I would have put him at #32 at this point. I know we're all liking what Schiano has done thus far, but he's undoubtedly the biggest question mark for an NFL HC. He may look brilliant in a few years, but he hasn't coached in this league in 14 years and that was at a much lower level.
