not a surprising thread considering your past issues with dominik. does this mean that Morris did not want to be DC? odd to me that dominik forced a staff on Morris but allowed Schiano complete autonomy.
Not odd at all.. Shiano has been a successful head coach for many years while Morris came in as a well thought of DB coach that was actually only in line for a DC job and was astonishingly made into a head coach! I remember how shocked Morris was when he was given the job. It was all down hill after that.
The less Dominik is involved with the Bucs the better IMO... Sorry, if that hurts the feeling of those cheering for the guy. I just hope he just writes the checks and someone keeps him from putting the Bucs in Cap hell again.
I give Morris all the praise imaginable for picking Josh Freeman with the 17th pick in the draft.
As to Dominik I guess he gets a bit of praise for following the KIper, McShay, Mayock, and Combine grades though I still think it was stupid to trade a 5th round pick to move up to get Benn 2 places earlier, and as predicted by me his 3rd round pick of Myron Lewis was a panic pick and has proven to be another poor selection.
As to grabbing Blount of the Tennessee waiver wire... Hey sometimes a Blind Sow stumbles on an acorn.. his other non drafted free agents have been total busts! from what I have seen. Oh wait ! He did get Parker... So that one still looks good.
