It's no big deal. I just think it's kinda silly people call him a good speaker when every speech isn't composed by HIM.

I don't care what interview or highlight video off YouTube I see from now until next week....I'm still not gonna feel too comftorable drafting this guy with the #5 pick. He has to end up being a shutdown island CB for him to be justified using the #5 on him. Most corners struggle pretty badly for atleast the first half of their rookie season as well. Probably the biggest learning curve of any position in the pros.

I like Claiborne, but I sort of agree....I honestly believe there are CBs that will be available in the 2nd and 3rd who can be just as effective as Claiborne...

QB, WR, LB, DL all have much higher learning curves.

RB probably the easiest. That just leaves TE, S, and CB

Oh damn...so is that why rookie QB's, WR's, LB's and DL's have came in so many times and had great rookie seasons for good teams? Yet you can barely name any corners who came in as rookies and played great in coverage. Haden was getting trashed until the end of his rookie year. Peterson was getting demolished all year long in coverage, and if it wasn't for his huge returns we would be calling him a big time bust right now. Kareem Jackson has to be the Texans fans least liked player on the whole squad. Kyle Wilson has 2 interceptions in 2 years. Patrick Robinson has been awful. Chris Cook....terrible. Malcolm Jenkins had to be moved to safety. Vontae Davis has been decent...kinda Talib'ish though. Alphonso Smith.....TERRIBLE. Darius Butler...awful.

Where are all these amazing corners at that were drafted high? All of these guys had hype coming out of college just like Claiborne once upon a time.

You could also add Rodgers-Cromartie and Leodis McKelvin.
