Not sure that either guy is worth that number, but I am reading that Vjax is helping our young guys(future) develop and hopefully become better pros.  Wallace I don't think brings that aspect with him, so I would say Vjax over Wallace even if we didn't have to give up a 1st round pick for Wallace.  We are desperate for leadership, hopefully Vjax can help with that void.

Nah I'd rather give it to Calvin Johnson. Oh not realistic?

Pointless hypothetical

All things equal, you'd take Wallace because he's younger.

But all things weren't and aren't equal.

If we are playing that both were unrestricted free agents I would still roll with Vincent Jackson. He is a proven playmaker in this league. No disrespect to Wallace but VJax is the better player.

Damn I know its 4/20 and all but some of yall are to messed uo if you think Mike Wallace is better than VJ. Mike Wallace isn't even the best WR on the Steelers as that honor goes to Antonio Brown even though neither to me are true #1 type recievers more like excellent #2s (ala Mike Williams).

Mike Wallace can only beat you deep. He is not even in the same class as Desean Jax. Big Ben buying time aids in the increase of receptions for both players as you cant cover any one in this league for 5 secs

Wallace would cost about 5 million more. No thanks.

Wallace is a one trick pony.

If I still had the choice, without the pick involved, I'd still rather have VJ on my team.

based on the OPs logic for this hypothetical situation, you could have anyone you want.

I think the OP is presenting a "what if" scenario in which they were both available without having to give up compensation to sign them(i.e. Free Agents)...then who would you rather have...

Well of course in that scenario it would be Wallace because of the many more years of production he could provide.
What's the point of envisioning that scenario?

I dunno, maybe got bored with jackin' it...I couldnt tell ya.

Bored..yes..of jackin it...no. Sometimes I like to post threads of hypothetical scenerios and see what they think. Sort of like mock draft threads, they are all hypothetical discussions.

I'd still take V-jax. V-jax can still go up and make plays with his size , Wallace is a smurf.

Silly me...I forgot..that could never be deemed as boring...

in fact...............hold that thought...brb.

Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing. But mediocre makes you live with the delusion for too many years. He is just good enough to waste our time and not good enough to get us where we want to go.

Wallace is a one-trick pony.  VJax fits us better for what we need.  Downfield threat like Wallace, but also huge redzone target and large catch radius.
